This is part one of the Star Trek: the Next Generation Electronic Press Kit. Due to Facebook limits on the size and duration of video files I cannot post the entire press kit at one time. The press kit was provided to television stations that carried the series when it premiered in the fall of 1987. The date on the original U-Matic format broadcast tape is October 3rd, 1987. This video includes production featurettes on the series and on star Patrick Stewart. The second part will focus on the cast and the third on the production crew. The audio is in stereo.
