This is probably a shot in the dark but I saw a running dog today - under the bridge by the river at 126/Lockport street in Plainfield. Brown lab size dog (could be lab/pit mix?). The dog didnt look thin or frail at all so probably hasnt been on the loose for long long.... Anyway, by the time I pulled my car over to try to follow some of the tips I posted the other day, the dog took off under the bridge, back north of 126 and was gone up along the river. I did not see a collar on the dog at all. I walked to under the bridge and saw lots of paw marks all over. Perhaps the dog is hanging out under there...? I left a can of food I had in my car---but there was nothing else I could do. If anyone knows of one in Plainfield or the vicinity who is looking for their dog with this general description, ya may wanna go check it out. I reported it to Lost Dogs of Illinois and browsed their page. No luck. {Sigh}
