This is probably one of my all time favorite songs. I discovered this song around 1998 when I bought the Home Alone soundtrack. I was living by myself in Danville behind Giavonnis and working 12 hour shifts at a group home with Shawnee Hills. That Christmas I was so excited over the little tree I bought at Foodland parking lot in Kanawha City. Every evening I would come home wore out, light up my tree and play this song. This song makes me feel so nostalgic and I often cry when I hear this song. I love all trees and especially a pine in the winter time. I love how they smell, feel and look. I could almost keep a fresh pine in my home lit up with white lights year round. Today when I was at Capitol Market picking out fresh pine to decorate inside of our home I immediately thought of this song. So I took out my phone and captured some shots of the beauty before me.
