This is rather belated. why does it take many weeks before our Navy can issue such an iddle threat. You cannot issue threat and you just sit in your cosy offices in Abuja,niger state or wherever the Navy has its headquarters. We need to send more stronger messages and there should regular patrol of the enitire Atlantic coast of the country. Not quite 12 months ago, some bunch of Ilaje unemployed sea pirates dug two cannals through to the Ilaje Atlantic sea coast and were collecting illegal tolls from hard working fishermen and no Naval presence to curb this excesses. I hope the Navy will now make it their business to have contious 24 hour patrol our coastal areas..
