This is really heartwarming, and even though an animal will always be true to its nature, that he remembered them is really sweet. Dogs are predators, but also pack animals, and they would remember a person from their pack for many, many years, so it stands to reason that a lion would remember, as well. I was a little taken aback when the lioness came up to them . . . was she ever introduced to humans before? What a risk if she was not . . . Left me feeling good nonetheless and thought I would share.
