This is sad and we all need to do what we can! I am planning a building fundraiser event for Save A Pet to bring dogs and Macon Purrs N Paws to bring cats to the Macon Pets store on Northside Dr. in Macon on Sat Aug 31, 2013 from 10 AM to 3 PM. Tom is making pet crosses, cat toys, and other items to sell with a portion of the proceeds to go to these rescues. SAP will have a dog kissing booth and will bring the beautiful tiles and other items to sell to fundraiser. We will have music and we are working on getting cokes and food donations. I would like for MPNP volunteers to organize a car wash and have volunteers to wash and walk signs up by the road. I would like suggestions on other things MPNP would like to have. SAp has decided to cook hot dogs. Please help us share and advertise this event and contact me for suggestions on how to make this event successful. If you have planned or participated in prior events and can help with this one - I need your help! PM me please. I would like to firm up what all we plan before I present the balance to the owners of the store the first part of next week. Come on MPNP volunteers, I am counting on you to do your part! We will be roping off part of the parking lot and we can make this as big as we want to.
