This is simple business 101, if the profit margin is on average 3% of each sale now then I would agree with charts. We can even break this down another way, fast food is accessible and its not that expensive so the business is proving a desired product to the customer at a fair price. When they are forced too raise how much they pay employees, the inflated expense will then be passed to the consumer, meaning it will no longer be affordable. The bottom line is people want something for nothing. Go back to school, get a degree, get a trade, create a career. A recent graduate with a nurse degree makes $15.00 per hour..do you think that is comparable? Servicemen and women on average make less per hour and they put there lives on the line everyday. This had become a society that wants, wants, wants and thats it.
