This is so good. It not all Hitchens but, well. A journalist called Farai Chedaya (this was in, ahem, 97) says something awesome. She says that when an article in any media is disproven or shown to be, at face value, to be presented as real but is not, that the media that presented it has to present an article with the same depth and heft and volume as the debunked one, and not merely print a small mea culpa so sorry in a corner of the media that is not so big and obvious as the original. I dont know how to think about this yet, but superficially at least, it sounds great. More to come. ah, here.
