This is so sad. This makes me feel so angry. You hear people complain that their hours are gonna be cut because of the Affordable Care Act. Personally, if I worked for someone who was gonna cut my hours because they had to provide me with benefits that I DESERVE id find another job. Ive worked in fast food, you dont get benefits, you dont get fair wages, but you work your butt off. Hell, even in this armpit of a town you cant even get to the hospital because the road is blocked from people going to McDonalds. But these people, big businesses, and teabaggers believe that you should just feel blessed because you have a job, and keep your mouth shut. Ive heard of people protesting gas prices and say lets all just go one day without getting gas. Well I wish these people who are hard working underpaid fast food employees would do the same. YOU maintain your Speed of Service Mr. Papa John. Mr. Burger King. Just walk out. Sad part about it is that most people cant afford to do that, they work their ass off for a measly 7.25 an hour and are told they should be happy their employed. Most of these people, if they had wages reflecting how hard they worked could go back to school and get a degree. However people running these companies are afraid to provide that, because its gonna take from their pockets, and well...lets just face it, thats SOCIALISM. Giving the poor hard working class a chance???? What do these people do who have to see a doctor? They dont go. They go to the ER, and as a result gives them a $2,000 bill. What would you do making 7.25 an hour? Thats $290 for a 40 hour work week BEFORE taxes. Beg for charity? File chapter 7 bankruptcy? All over ONE medical bill?!??! People in Australia get paid the equivalent of 14 American dollars an hour for working at McDonalds. People in the UK have to pay a education tax regardless of if youre a CEO or a Housekeeper. Everybody has the right to go to school. But thats socialism. No, we dont do that here. And I understand the hardworking people who have money want to keep it, they earned it and they should, but whose to say that the people who work hard doesnt deserve that same opportunity? Some are just born with money, some can afford a Harvard education, or have 3 kids you can get education assistance, if you live in a cardboard box and eat that cardboard for food you get help, thats not fair. Lets continue to let the wealthy be wealthy and brainwash people believing that we have a Black Muslim President who just wants to hurt you. Im not saying hes great, but I support him. Sad part of it is, the people hes trying to help are supporting the people who are big businesses and are hurting them. Most notably in the south.
