This is so true on so many levels. If we are even thinking of compromising, we need to really sit down and examine ourselves. We need to ask this simple question, Do I really love myself. The truth is many compromise simply because they dont know who they are and whos they are, and this value can only come by having a real relationship with God. When we love ourselves we become full, when we love God and have a relationship with him then we begin to overflow. And when one begins to overflow with love, one has much to give away. A relationship in my opinion is not about receiving, but giving away. Jesus did not come to receive but he came to give. He said I come that you may have life and have it more abundantly. Its only when two people who are looking to please each other without expecting anything in return that the relationship will work. Now we need to ask ourselves this question, Do I want to be in a relationship because I have wants and needs, our do I want to be in a relationship because I am full and have so much to give away. Lord I pray that all of my single facebook friends will become so full of you Lord Jesus, that whomever they encounter in their walk will be blessed by them and have a desire to know you Lord Jesus. I ask Lord that you order their steps and give them patients to wait for the man or woman you have chosen for them. Help them to be unselfish when you do bring them that special person. Fill them up so much with your love and your grace and your goodness that they will be overflowing, and all they desire to do is give it away. - Tanyshia Long
