This is some of my best work when it comes to AMVs. It is heart breaking. Yet it is a face of reality most romantic films neglect. The two get together and live happily ever after. Not here. Eve has other things to do with her life, so does Eiji. Her first kiss and final kiss goodbye, is so deep, words really fail to describe properly. It stands for all the things that keep the two from being together. The guy Eiji fights with, Sion, is a member of Orange entertainment, which is just a front for the organization which is against the E=x organization, who are bent on controlling the population and destroying the planet. Eiji does not know this at the time and is used as a pawn by E=x. Eiji gets the garland and soon after the conflict with Sion, finds Eve and together they activate the final True Eve Program to bring life back into a dying planet. Basically what Im saying is, Megazone 23 is one of the greatest animes ever made. It had themes in it which would not be seen around the world until the Matrix. Megazone 23 is not popular or well known about, which is crazy to realize. Part III is my personal favorite, but I use to really like Part II and I back in my degenerate days. Part II being my favorite. Ive grown to Like Part III more. Truth be told, Part II has the best animation out of all them. Even if you are not a fan of anime, I would suggest this as worth watching with the themes it covers in all three parts of this OVA series.
