This is something I believe...Toward the One...or you can say: One Truth, Many Paths. But it all comes down to Love, love your neighbor as youself, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you...or as the Dalai Lama says: My religion is kindness (sometimes translated as compassion). I use these principles when I am teaching Gentle Healing Yoga, knowing that loving ones self, and loving others, is a spiritual practice that enhances everything we do, everything we say or teach, everything that we exemplify. I am not a yoga teacher who insists on perfection, but one who encourages each person to see your self as already a beautiful, amazing, wondrous being, and we need to remove any ideas or habits of perceived limitation that get in the way. We are human beings who are challenged by great stresses, but who are really Beings of Light and Love, just waiting for moments of realization to lengthen and come forth out of hiding, so to speak, so that we can be all we can be, indeed all that we really are already! Join us at Gentle Healing Yoga, and use the stretching and moving in the consciousness of the present moment, and the loving sense of presence we enhance, to reduce your stress and strengthen these realizations in your daily life! Tues and Thur 5:30 - 7pm at Unity of Columbia. Suggested Donation is $8., but no Love Offering is too small for those who need a lower cost class.
