This is something I work very hard to do. I very rarely say anything about appearance(almost to a fault) Instead I tell my big girl how my legs let me finish my first half marathon just a few months after having mason and how I am tall which means I can reach anything. How my soft belly and arms are always a warm soft place to feel comforted. I try really hard to correct people(mostly nana. ;) love you mom) when they say something negative about themselves(height, weight, etc) around my girl by pointing out what is positive about the trait that they are complaining about. My body isnt perfect, it wont ever be but I can appreciate every single inch of it for all the amazing things it does.
