This is something that I feel very strongly about. Im not meaning any offense to people on my friends list who are on the police force- with that said- There are few policeman these days who actually do their job how theyre supposed to. Its not their job to do whatever the f@&k they want or to be a rude dick simply because they think they are superior and have the right to. They dont. It IS their job to protect the people they serve, and since this is America we as citizens have rights that DONT become void just because an officer wants them to. In this video the cops were getting outraged because this young man new his rights and was within them- they used their power to be assholes even though they knew he was innocent; instead of, ya know, actually checking the other drivers to see if they were intoxicated- as it was a checkpoint. ABSURD! USELESS! A waste of the working persons money. The illegal things Ive seen some of our countries protectors doing is beyond ugly and disgusting. I would really like to know when it became the norm for cops to be corrupt? To hurt more than they protect? Its sad when people dont want to call the police because they know they will do nothing to help them. What is this country coming to if the main thing everyone is scared of is our government.
