This is something that I have been thinking about a lot over the past week. The New Age communitys sensitivity about anything that is being sold seems to be isolated to the New Age community. That is, outside of the New Age community, there does not seem to be any concern about distributing something for a fee, small or large, since it is not possible to do anything in this world without some exchange of money, be it groceries, gas, cars, or whatever, and people just accept this. I am wondering if this sensitivity has actually been planted and cultured over many years in the New Age community precisely so that this community can be a dumping ground for sensitive information that TPTB (the Powers That Be) would not want to escape from the New Age community. If no one in the New Age community has the financial resources to extend their findings into the mainstream, then the findings would remain isolated. I am not saying with any certainty that this is the case. But I have recently been speaking with some radio hosts about this sensitivity, something of which many seem to be fully aware, and many seem to be similarly puzzled by how this has come to be. The fuses of many in the New Age community are very short, the anger is intense, the tolerance for mistakes is low, and it is all quite puzzling. I just dont know the answer to this. Nonetheless, I do know for a fact that the New Age community has been used as a dumping ground for sensitive things that TPTB knew would get out eventually, and the dumping was done into the New Age community with the precise intention of keeping it there and out of the mainstream, as a method of confinement. Indeed, the release of information relating to the original military remote-viewing programs was handled in this way. The only question I really have, is whether or not portions of the New Age community have be conditioned to financially castrate their own members who may want to expand outside of the New Age community as a means of helping the world, or if this happened all by itself and is simply being used by TPTB for convenience. I just dont know the answer to this. This is of particular importance because so many activists/producers in the New Age community are volunteers, and clearly not professionals in public relations, advertising, etc. Thus, when they do things, having a short tempers within the community leaves little tolerance for experimentation, mistakes, or even the perception of mistakes. It really is a curious situation. Now, with respect to our recent announcement, some may charge, Its not the money. It is the fact that you did it in such and such a way! But that is the point. None of us in this community are professionally trained in doing what we do, otherwise we would work for big bucks on Madison Avenue. So there is going to be experimentation and error, especially when we feel something we have done is really important. No one is perfect. But when fuses are so short when things do not go as planned, who is actually hurt, the activist/producers who are trying to make a difference, or the members of the New Age community themselves who are so quick to throw the baby out with the bathwater? In short, how did we in the New Age community get into such a situation? Was it accidental, or planned? I just do not know.
