This is something that one of my listeners e-mailed to me, and I waned to share it with you all: Let me give you two quick examples of what Nazism and Communism does to people. In 1954 A Polish person emigrated to the United States. He has saved his money and had relatives here that would give him a home, tutor his English, and find him a job. Stan adapted well to living in America. Everything is going smooth until one day Stan had a question. “Where do I go to get a pass to go to a nearby town about 10 miles away?” “Stan, we said, you can go anywhere you want in America and you dont have to tell anybody anything about where youre going or when youre coming back. Second example: In about 1967 I would go to engineering conferences, meetings with a fellow engineer that emigrated from Hungary. Tony was a well-educated engineer. The Nazis put him in one of their death camps for no other reason than they didnt like his looks. He survived by always being the first one up, with a broom in his hand, ready to work, even though he was starving and so dizzy that he felt like falling down. They put off killing Tony, one day at a time. After a while he was rescued by the Russians. They didnt like him either. After a while, somehow, he came to America. He adapted. Stan did have one peculiarity. When he attended those meetings he would always sit in the corner with his back to the wall, near the door so that no one could sneak up behind him and kill him and the door was for a quick escape. Are you sure you want to embrace Communism And the welfare state? Remember when you get something for nothing, Somewhere else someone is getting nothing for something. Thank God for patriots.
