This is somewhat town related. Anyone know of a way besides taking and old console tv to the dump to get rid it. Town will not take it. I do not think Habitat for Humanity will want it. Best Buy will not take it at the store. They said that the Geek Squad has to come and pick it up. We called the other day. We were put on hold and then they hung up on us. I am sure it would be expensive anyway. They wanted $150 to assemble a tv stand that we bought. The tv still works great. Of course there is no HD and the original remote is gone. The set is 24 years old. My kids bought us a new flat screen. They could not take it anymore. So right now the floor console tv is my tv stand. LOL. Anyone have any thoughts?
