This is stated so simply. I really am horrified by todays culture of dating, where inconsistency, inauthenticity, shallowness, selfishness and deception are the most common characteristics found even in the seemingly kindest of people, because its been strangely conditioned that behaving in those absurd ways is what will attract a partner. Of the greatest and healthiest relationships I have witnessed, none were obtained through childish games of mixed messages. Also, Ive found that where most men may think they want a true lady and quality woman, so many of these men fail to remember what must be offered to obtain such a woman. In addition, expression of thoughts and emotions are becoming taboo; any form of depth beyond a casual conversation is automatically too much. How are we to learn and grow in life without moments of mental vulnerability? And how does one expect to find a balanced fulfillment from a partner when you dont even allow each other the genuine opportunity to truly learn about one another as individuals AND as a couple, bc youre dating/sleeping with 20 other people? I could go on forever.....
