This is straight up, but there is more to the issue. Most people seeking trainers are not all the dedicated to learn how to train or to understand what they are training for. There is nothing more frustrating to me, then to have someone come up for lessons who wants me to just give them the answers. They really dont want to learn how to train a dog nor the whys and whats that will dictate what they teach and when. So many times a person will come for a lesson, and only think about their lesson on the way home. Once back into regular life, they will not give what they were being taught another thought until they are in the car on the return trip for their next lesson. Folks dont understand that dog training, regardless of if it is simple obedience or stock work requires them to change their day to day interaction with their dog and means that they need to see the world differently. Most are not interested in investing that much time into it, so the trainers that are good at telling you what you want to hear prosper, its not their fault....call it a smart business strategy. simply stated..... youtu.be/rmGNc37cUOs
