This is such a sad story. The family believes her death was accidental that she may have fallen. But the fact that authorities did little to nothing to help find her, and that it took her family and volunteers to set out and search for her. It just goes to show that whether you have made a name for yourself or not our missing/murdered native women and children around the world are not taken seriously. And reading about her suffering from a mental illness, her story hits home to me more than anything. Because I too battle with the same and know that even with the most amazing people standing behind you, sometimes the feeling of not being worthy over powers your way of thinking. You might have everything and everyone within arms reach yet still feel alone. She was only 32 and it makes me want to fight harder towards finding balance in my life. In loving memory of an extremely talented up and coming native American actress may she find the peace she set out to find on the other side.
