This is the FIRST time I ever recorded my voice in acapella, it would sound a lot better with some brass on it though ha and for many of you, this will be the first time youve heard me sing. This was done on a tingly laptop microphone in the depths of my tiled bathroom where I think more people should be recording their music in due to the warmth it brings out. Ive been listening to a lot of jazz standards these past couple of days and thought I would give a go in singing one of my favourites Lullaby of Birdland. Please hint that the quality isnt great and that I had to turn the microphone up a bit to hear myself a bit better. If you lot approve of this botch job, I shall buy myself a proper microphone with all the trimmings and get down to it. One thing I will say, its strange hearing yourself back and Im regretting posting this up, but here it is for your listening pleasure only. Most of my close family + friends dont even know I can sing a little thats how secretive Ive been about it so I thought this would be the best way to put it out there... Make sure youre wearing headphones as it sounds a lot better!
