This is the Partisan Exchange, which is an open debate group for anything political or academic, as well as our great tradition of sometimes doing neither. We have laid out 5 common sense rules for political discourse that should be followed. Our Guaranteed Policies: 1. The administrators may NOT delete the comments/posts of ANY member. 2. Reporting our valued members to Facebook Inc. will result in your removal from this group. Report all problems to Partisan Exchange Administrators. 3. No insulting. (2 warnings and then youre out) Public figures are fair game. 4. No trolling. (1 warning and then youre out) Partisan Exchange definition of a troll: A person who argues to annoy members by arguing over extremely trivial issues, posting inflammatory comments, severely off-topic comments (thread-jacking), spams a member, or spams the group. 5. Members may not block any administrators. (We will notify you if you do) Warnings add up to suspension (3 for insults, 2 for trolling). Warnings expire after four months. Our Admin Team: The Partisan Exchange is run by a bi-partisan group of administrators. All decisions are made democratically. One vote per admin. All warnings and suspensions must have documented evidence of consistent rule-breaking and the voting approval of a majority of admins. Administrators listed by seniority (But not importance), the admins are Joey Hornbuckle (founder), Matthew Boyd (Senior Conservative Admin.), Jeff Blalock, Richard Fisher (fka The Infamous Ricky Dizzle), Mike Schonewolf, Tim Thomas (Senior West-coast Admin.), Jabari Morris, and Amanda Fang. Contact any of these guys if you need ANYTHING! ^^ The Partisan Exchanges The Schonewolf Policies: Suspension for insults ends after 4 months. Suspension for trolling ends after 6 months. Upon return from suspension, members see their final warning expire and other remaining warnings drop off in four month intervals if the member shows improved behavior. Policy Chambers: Any member who wants a more serious and academic discussion can start a policy chamber thread instead of a regular thread. That member (the thread-master) may ask members who are not being academic/serious to step out of their policy chamber. Refusal to step out as ordered by the thread-creator can result in a warning for trolling. Just start your post with and the topic you want to talk about. Hornbuckle Doctrine: Actions which threaten the very existence of the Partisan Exchange or can jeopardize the security of our members or our members profiles will be handled by the administrators in a responsible way, and admins will take necessary and proper action towards ensuring the safety of our members and the survival of the Partisan Exchange.
