This is the Yosh/Katana 1000 that I sold last year. Too many bikes at the time and planning a move. It ran well but I wanted to mod it and a lot of people were giving me stick about it. I bailed on the project keeping the rest of my heard. I still want to get my hands on a GS1100 and plant the engine in a frame I had welded and chopped for road racing/ endurance racing trim. In this area, NE US, Suzukis dont get the respect they deserve. Its a blessing and a curse because morons still sell them around 1000.00US all over the place. Compare that with what people are paying for any kind of CB750! Im not knocking CBs but the price difference is compelling. If you know the secrets of engine/frame and front end swaps, you can build some interesting machines! In this particular case, I just didnt want to violate the original bike. So I sold it while the money was there and needed. Unlike virtually all of the rest of the GS bikes, Katanas can fetch some fair money.
