And please remember, puppies from Amish people, Amish markets, as well as almost 100% of all pet stores are puppy mill dogs. If you must have a specific breed, please look for a breed specific rescue, or contact a local breeder directly that allows you to visit where the dogs are raised. If they dont, do not buy from them - they have something to hide. A reputable breeder should have an application process because they want to be sure their dogs go to a good home. A puppy mill puts profits above the welfare of the dogs.
