This is the craftsman/artisan potter Akira Satake whos had a number of professional lives & famous for a couple, this one & another in particular. Here he creates a tea ceremony bowl. He says its his form of meditation. Zen was not for him he says, implying things such as that do not produce results worth nearly as much as those that include others who enjoy his minds pathways, not to mention the utility of his works.
