This is the dopest ish I seen on the social media in a long ass time. Mad profound. Rather then letting kids play video games all day or some other meaningless activity... How many are actively learning at home with their kids. All summer I been asking people are their kids reading or just having fun? Many are so lying about how their children are reading... Its a known reality that too many urban kids are 3-4 grade levels behind in their reading/comprehension of text. It is my belief that if your child is struggling that your whole house should be set up as a learning lab. Why are you beating and cussing out your kids after theyve reached middle/high school when you should have known they had learning issues at a much younger age? What did you do about it then? Too many parents I know are not reading with their kids at home. Too many parents leave the responsibility of learning with teachers. Do you even know your childs Lexile reading level? #ReadingComprehensionIsAPowerfulLearningSkill
