This is the evening report from Mayberry by the sea......he dropped to his knees with his hands held high toward the heavens and said his prayer.....I surrender!!!!...do not vex me with meatloaf again!!!!.....do not make me think about it...say the word or eat it for a very long time!.......The heavenly voice said unto him....I have two words for you child........meat....loaf........11 seconds later he was making a meatloaf sandwich for dinner.......meatloaf for two days....two dinners...two lunches......one breakfast....and two meatloaf snacks........the burned peach cobbler that came after was sublime......the peach cobbler was cooked like the meatloaf...volcano style.....burned beyond recognition and yet so good.....Meatloaf Mount St. Helens.......and Peach Cobbler Pinatubo.....and later I will have Coffee Krakatoa heated up to the point it is convulsing in a frenzied state inside the microwave.....and I am happy to announce that the meatloaf is finally gone........that made me think about working out and how to become a lean mean fighting machine and to get there with minimal effort....I pondered the thought all afternoon.........how to get there without pain.....what would I wear?........how do I make working out fun...... where I dont see it as work....easy....time to get back to surfing .......I found the board I want and it is made in California.....Von Sol Surfboards.......looking to get a 78-8 surfboard with a swallow tail and four fins.....I dont think I was put on this earth to workout in a building...only the ocean.......and the thought of working out any where else prompts me to lay down until the feeling passes.......and now for the news.......I did something stupid tonight on my computer...I accidentally deleted all of my photos from my computer....sometimes the humble caveman just starts randomly pushing buttoms not knowing what he is doing.......the result......three years of photos gone.....but I managed to save the best ones on facebook.........I saw a video of the protest in Paris and this man decided to entertain the massive crowd below by placing his speakers in the window and played John Lennons Imagine to the crowd....a profound song that had a profound effect on the crowd as they all started singing Imagine.......chocked me up.........despite the insanity of the world......beauty exists everywhere.....in the people......and places that surround us....tonight the beauty of the fog was serene and when the last bolt of red light began to bleed through the fog the light was surreal......the waves added muffled percussion the music of the night.....a distant dog barking......seagulls and crows in the mist....alone on an empty beach.....in..............Mayberry by the sea.....the edge of the wilderness along the broken coast........every Mayberry has a dark underbelly........once an island with a dark side...war....injustice and pain.......now a place of serenity and healing.......this is my exile from the circus that surrounds the planet......but like this island......I hope the insanity will be defeated eventually and peace will ensue.......John Lennon was way ahead of his time...............
