This is the exact words of Mallam El-Rufai, former minister of FCT & the present National Deputy Secretary of ACP curled from The Nation newspaper of, 11th August, 2013; “How can one ethnic group, the Ijaw, threaten the rest of us? We have 170 million people, I don’t know how many of that population make up the Ijaw nation, but I don’t think they are more than five million. “How can five million people threaten us saying unless their son becomes President, there will be no Nigeria? Who are they to do that? The government keeps quiet when somebody says that. Of course, the expected reaction is that you have people from the North also threatening similar thing". Is too unfortunate that those aspiring to rule this country can reduce themselves too low to insult an entire ethnic group that finds themselves in the minority but whose environment has been bastardy abused and degraded in order to feed and sustain the entire nation. If all the ACP can offer them is insult & threat of genocide, then we are in trouble
