This is the first generation of American children expected to lead shorter lives than their parents. Read it again. And let it soak in... Not sure how you processed that...but every time I hear it, my heart sinks and a knot rises in my throat. Parents OUTLIVING their children?? Thats heartbreaking. No doubt that if you read my posts, you know where I stand on the food front. Folks FOOD IS MEDICINE . PERIOD. So...MY kiddos...YOUR kiddos. For the LOVE of the next generation, I do what I do. Because if WE dont fight for them, the statistic isnt pretty. I dont know about you, but I need to KNOW that I did ALL, gave ALL, taught ALL. FOR THEM. That I set my little peeps up from a health perspective to GO and DO and LIVE the legacy theyre called to. To be ABLE (physically able) to rise up and answer YES when their time comes. I have personally watched FED UP. For the LOVE, we need stand up. Mommas and Daddies...when we KNOW better, we DO better. So if you havent seen this film, DO!!!
