This is the first message I have posted since the passing of my Father GEORGE WALKER. He passed away at his home in Puerto Rico on 04/05/2014. He was one tough Irish guy, born and raised by my grandmother and grandfather in the Kensington part of Phila. He was an extremely PROUD MAN as father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, son, veteran and the list could go on and on. He along with my mother, raised 3 sons who happened to turn out to be GREAT FATHERS. My brothers (MY HEROs) and I learned right from wrong from my father, and boy did he let us know when we were wrong. We called those situations uh-ohs and ran for cover because that size 13 goodyear tire made flip-flop was coming out (LOL). . His death while very tragic, it is my belief he would have wanted everyone to celebrate his life and not mourn it, my plan for life is to celebrate him through the gifts that god has given me, my children, Brandon and Kayla. I know in my heart that is what he would want. I want to thank Stacey & Ian for being there for me. My niece Sara, read a poem titled The Dash and I found that to be some great words for all of us to live by. I am especially thankful for my mom , my grandmother NAN, niece Sara and nephews Stephen, Brady and Joshua, my sisters Shona and Laura, my Godfather Charles McCormick, my Godmother Claire Gangemi , my Aunts Karen and Joan my Uncles John and Mike. My cousins the Gangemi family Tommy, Karen, Jimmy, Michael and Melissa. The McCormick cousins Erin, Aidan, Molly and Danielle and the rest of the family and friends who have been supporting me.
