This is the first single from my Gospel cd which will be released later this year entitled, The Man Who Saved My Life. About a year ago while I was still with Kevin Richardson & Cuttin Edge a young man named Daniel Cheek who I met through my store, Got2pick music & was still in high school brought me this song & wanted my help finishing the lyrics he had written. After reading over the song, I knew it had come straight from the heart. I began to put chords with what I felt from the lyrics Daniel had written & with a few changes in a line or two & a couple of new chords suggested by Greg Luck @ Riverside Audio we had this beautiful song that had me in tears the day after we tracked it. I cried most of the next day as I pondered the strong message this song delivered. This song features me on guitar, mandolin & lead vocal, Greg Luck on guitar, fiddle, 5 string fiddle, cello & harmony vocal, Matthew Nance on bass & Cassie Garner on harmony vocal.
