This is the first time I havent voted since I was 18 years old. So, a bachelors degree in political science, a masters degree in political science, lots of activism and protests under my belt, plus campaign work and 18 years older.... I can feel good about my decision in regards to no longer being complicit through symbolic participation when it comes to legitimizing the psychopathic Federal government in this country. I do feel guilty about not participating in the state and local vote.... but since Im registered to vote 45 minutes away, I determined that my vote is not worth the gain in profits to the oil company for my drive out there. And to those who say if you dont vote, you cant complain I say youre incorrect.... because its the system that needs criticizing as opposed to the lowly politicians.... think bigger.
