This is the kinda thing that breaks my heart... How are Christians expected to live righteously if these are the role-models that they look up to.. ..And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for ones life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions..” Luke 12:15 ..Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.. 1st Timothy 6: 17-18 I have no qualms with being wealthy..but just like the verse above this statement, where are the good deeds, if the secular media only has achievements to report about..would that mean that the said good deeds/ the generosity is indeed lacking..
