This is the latest information I have about my progress. Had 2nd follow up with the surgeon last monday. The sternum has fused back together which is good. Had follow up with my cardiologist Wednesday. Was sent for blood work and chest xray. Xray confirmed that I have a substantial build up of fluid around my left lung and my heart. I will go Tuesday for a CT scan to determine if a chest tube will be put in and its placement. I get short of breath again but my heart is not strong enough yet to have the other 2-3 bypasses that i need. Theyre hoping by putting in a drain to keep the fluid off it will help buy me some more time. It seems like I am going backwards and I get very depressed at times. I probably wont be able to go back to work this school year which depresses me more. I hope I will be approved for social security disability that I applied for. If so it will begin next february. Its been very difficult since i have had very little income since September but God provides. Please continue to pray for us especially Kim since Im not able to do much everything falls on her and I know shes wearing down. Thank you for all your thoughts prayers and concerns theyre appreciated so much. We wish all of you much joy and peace through this holiday season and the new year to come.
