Rope Access Inspection North West Ltd specialise in working at height, using the latest in rope access technology to do jobs that ladders, scaffolding and cherry pickers can’t reach or are too expensive to use. Assisting with everything from window cleaning and repair jobs to banner installation, building maintenance, masonry, painting and much more Onshore, Offshore and Renewables, the locally based company are making good progress and expanding their range of clients. But just 6 months ago, the company were a start-up, struggling to know how to make their business work and secure jobs in a competitive market. Enter Blackpool Council’s Get Started service - part of the Start Up Lancashire service supported by the European Regional Development Fund. Owner, James Evans was given the confidence to push his business forward with advice on everything from business planning to accounting through one-on-one advice, seminars and group sessions. The company have now secured a prestigious contract with a leading pest control firm and are broadening their horizons further and looking to hire new employees. The fact that the company has a low carbon footprint is pushing it even further, making the local councils realise that this company is the way forward when it comes to working at height.
