This is the letter that I wrote to our local Paper a couple years ago. ak Hello, my name is Andrew Kelley. Later in life I returned to School in order to obtain my Indiana State Teaching License. I have had the joy of teaching our wonderful Indiana students as a student teacher. I would hope that you do not support the Common Core . The Social Studies-History-Economics curriculum within the CC is stocked full of Political Correctness in line with Socialism (the teachings of Marx-Engels), Relativism, Globalism, and Multiculturalism. These beliefs do not accurately represent the sentiments of the majority of Americans, or Hoosiers. They are in line with the Progressive agenda that is currently inflicting great harm upon Americas Constitutional foundation, the continuing of a Representative Republic, the Rule of Law, the Separation of Powers-Checks and Balances, The Judea-Christian view of Life, and its Sacredness, legal foundations, and various Morals and Ethics that sustain a productive society. The downgrading of America and our Christian Founding in order to be fair to the rest of the world is misguided. The entire notion of spreading the wealth under the guise of compassion is diabolical. This futile attempt of Redistribution has a rich history of failure, not to mention the loss of all Liberties and Freedoms Americans hold dear. Tyranny and Genocide are the Historical and Predicable Common fruits that are reaped as a result of implementing the Core beliefs of Marx. To continue to promote Class Warfare, Class Envy, and the gospel of greed under the guise of Education is a fallacy. This will lead to yet another generation of students sadly motivated by the Role of the Community and or Entitlement rather that Individual Initiative, and Self reliance. If Indiana wants to truly represent her people and the majority view of those who pay the taxes, our representatives at the State house will vote No on the Common Core Educational Standards. It is high time for Indiana to take the Initiative, cut across the grain of failed PC policies currently destroying other States, and accept the Responsibility of Common Sense Leadership. I ask you and our other Representatives to steady yourselves and stand up against the continuing rushing stream of Entitled Tyranny. We as a Nation must endure the historic monsoon of lies that has been raining upon us these last several years. Our beautiful creeks and rivers are roaring with muddy destructive force, the fields of reason are flooded with vain utopian sentiment, our true leaders find themselves soaking wet, shivering with apprehension outside of the warmth within our White House. However, the cold reality of everyday life that faces the people you represent should remind you that we cannot continue to allow ourselves to be swept any further down a rushing stream that continues to destroy its banks and boundaries with the angry divisive entitled gospel of greed and envy. Indiana, its representatives, its Educational leaders, its citizenry, and most importantly, its students MUST step up and turn the current tide! Allowing ourselves, like others, to be swept down the drain of Utopian madness, void of the Common Sense that make us Hoosiers, will eventually land us in the sewer of Despotism. We must not allow our students to be reeducated by Federal Mandated Social priorities within the CC to the extent that they view equality as a Goal, are captivated by the lies of social justice and thereby find themselves enjoying the odor of its common sewer. Why in the name of reason would you as a Citizen of the state of Indiana continue to cooperate and support another Federal Mandated Experiment? At the expense of our Children no less? Please stand and be counted, we must begin to distance our State from the countless failed heavy handed Federal Infringements upon our Historical American Liberties. Please help us turn the tide.
