This is the more in depth newscast from tonight. I want to publicly thank Danielle Serino from 19 Action News for her relentless pursuit of criminal residential contractors. Ever since my home was destroyed in a storm 3 years ago tomorrow, I have been under virtual siege from one of these thieves. It finally ended three weeks ago. I got my money back after a two year legal battle. Danielle helped me all she could against him and Allstate who denied my claim due to the contractor fraud. Many of the complaints she gets are about corrupt contractors because Ohio is one of the few states with no licensing or regulation pertaining to this industry. So felons come from other states because ours is easy Pickens. The one I had moved here from Georgia where he had been run out of town because he knew he could get away with robbing victims and pay no consequence. Danielle has been going after the 130th assembly to pass laws to protect us concerning this matter but they have been falling on deaf ears....until now....Yesterday she and other consumer reporters here in Ohio testified to the Senators and Danielle asked me to drive down there and testify too.
