This is the new thing for me! An exciting and important opportunity, and I am so pleased I can play a role on this new program. We have an initial 3 years to start, but planning out for 8 years of work on violence against women in Timor-Leste. So many things have led to this place, seeds that were sown, people who made important contributions along the way. And I will be working with a great team Kerry Brogan, Sophia Cason for a start and more to come. Nice to have some of my IRC team here with me in TAF Neta Maia, Laura Pina. Other people further away Milena Vilanova, Aisling Swaine, Vijaya Joshi but did important things. Jeanne Ward and Christine Chanyou have come up in conversation. Will be great to keep connections with many people who Ive worked with alredy I will Luisa Marcal, Carmen Dacruz, Joana Da Cunha Gomes, Merita Correia, Nurima Ribeiro Alkatiri, kolega sira in all of the organisations which are playing a role in ending violence against women and girls in Timor-Leste. I am calling myself a Social Worker again, its a proud tradition, Jenn St. Louis, Jennifer Henry, Lynda L. Lim.
