This is the newest member of our family, Goldie Hawn. She is a 22 year old blue and gold Macaw. She belonged to my cousins. I love her already. She tells me good morning when I get up and hello everytime I walk in. She even let me pet her 3 times already. Ive spent several hours just hanging out with her and letting her get used to me and the new surroundings. She LOVES bananas and avacados and says, good, its good. Hates Apples and Oranges but she likes pineapples. Loves all kinds of nuts but pecans are her favorite. She does not like tomatoes or lettuce but will nibble on cucumbers. She hasnt touched her regular feed but I guess she is getting plenty to eat. She likes it when I hand feed her. I guess I shouldnt spoil her but all the rest of the animals are. LOL She abhors the dogs and when they bark she raises 9 kinds of hell. LOL She also doesnt like it when I walk away at first. She will out live me so I have to determine which of my children I will curse with her when I die. Bwaaahahahaha!
