This is the ordinance that passed final reading tonight. Please share and review so everyone can be informed what is ACTUALLY in this legislation. It does NOT pull from the city pension fund. It will NOT break the bank. It is NOT only for LGBT city employees (it covers ALL unmarried committed couples who co-habitate, share financial responsibilities, and have an non-platonic relationship), it will NOT even remotely attempt to redefine marriage in any way shape or form. Give it a read. And the wording is based on existing legislation and policy from companies and governments that have had such policies in place for YEARS. So, its NOT an experiment either.
