This is the [predictable] result of my complaint from last - TopicsExpress

This is the [predictable] result of my complaint from last December when I witnessed police brutality. I redacted the victims name, but left the names of the perpetrating officers. Obviously others also complained because there are claims here that I did not personally make. Particularly galling is the exoneration of these putative civil servants from beating the living shit out of a guy face down on the ground with their nightsticks, witnessed directly by me and at least 20 other people. Anyway, read it and weep: Dear Mr. Gelber: Following a thorough and impartial investigation by the Civilian Complaint Review Boards investigative staff, the Board reviewed the evidence regarding the above-referenced complaint. I am now writing to inform you of the Boards findings on the allegation(s) raised by this complaint. Allegation(s) by letter : Board finding(s) : A) Discourtesy: At the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Unsubstantiated subway station, PO Justin Blackman spoke rudely to Kxxxxx Jxxxxx B) Force: At the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Exonerated subway station, PO Justin Blackman used pepper spray against Kxxxxx Jxxxxx. C) Force: At the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Exonerated subway station, PO Justin Blackman struck Kxxxxx Jxxxxx with a baton. D) Force: At the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Exonerated subway station, PO David Hyun struck Kxxxxx Jxxxxx with a baton. E) Abuse of Authority: At the Transit District 2 Unsubstantiated stationhouse, Lt. Marc Zirlinger threatened Kxxxxx Jxxxxx with the use of force. F) Abuse of Authority: At the Transit District 2 Officer(s) Unidentified stationhouse, an officer did not process Kxxxxx Jxxxxx’s complaint regarding officers.
