This is the progress of my first painting. Acrylic on canvas board (aka Daler board) ~8x11. I used to draw a lot as a kid, but never painted. Painting was always too intimidating for some reason. At 45 years old, I know Im getting a late start, but thats okay, better late than never. Its pages like this one that got me motivated and gave me the courage to give it a go. It seems to be coming along okay so far. I think after I do some more work on the oxygen mask and his neck I should be done. Hopefully these pics post in the proper order to show my progress. I have no idea what Im doing, or if Im doing it right, but Im doing it anyhow. Ill learn from my mistakes and successes. Im completely open to constructive criticism and reinforcement of what Im doing correctly.
