This is the reality of factory farming. 1.4 million souls, buried alive. This happened as a result of a disease that spread through South Korean factory farms in 2010-2011. The condions that exist to breed and raise animals for food production lead to outcomes such as this. If you have ever wondered how fast food is so cheap, do a little research. Conditions on factory farms are horrific, for the animals and for the workers, and are a breeding ground for disease. These pigs suffered unimaginable trauma, pain and confusion until their death, which was not quick or humane in any regard. Take a moment and realize that you could have opened your eyes on the day of your birth, not as a human but as a factory farmed animal. The reality is that you could have just as easily been born as one of these pigs. You werent. You have the power to do something about this, they do not. We, as a species, are evolved. It is time to end this barbaric practice and stop gorging on the flesh of other beings.
