This is the reason we do what we do, look at this amazing testimonial from our amazing retreater Kurt. I cannot talk more highly of my experience with Queenstown Fitness Retreats. Before making my way to Queenstown I was unfit, overweight and experiencing health issues such as high blood pressure, gout and shortness of breath. It took me a while to build up the courage to commit to the experience but it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I know some people will look at the cost and think can I afford it? My answer to that is; can you afford not to come? It’s an investment in to your future and when you break it down and look at what you are receiving for the money you are spending you are getting an absolute bargain. Two personal training sessions a day, 5-6 nutritious and tasty meals, accommodation, massage, transfers to and from the airport, a 6 month post-retreat exercise and nutrition programme; and above all else the opportunity to work with and be educated by inspirational people who are experts in health, fitness and nutrition. The trainers believe in you and programmes are tailor made to meet your individual goals and needs. The staff are some of the most humble and lovely people you will ever meet, there is no pretentiousness just an absolute passion and commitment to helping you achieve your goals and aspirations. What surprised me was what you can accomplish when you put your mind to something, I was tested mentally and physically every day but the trainers have this amazing ability to know how far they can push you. Training sessions are fun and varied and include walking, hiking, running, boxing, weight training and high intensity circuits. I did a 10 day retreat and some of my key achievements included: - Lost 5.2 kg (but more importantly body fat dropped by 7.3%) - Chest measurements decreased by 4.8cm and my waist by 4.3cm - Blood pressure has returned to the healthy range - No shortness of breath (the first running session I struggled to run continuously for 20 minutes, on day 10 I ran for over an hour non-stop and in the snow) - I could do one pull up on day one and on day 10 I could do six. Whilst the fitness, strength and physical transformations were huge the biggest success I have taken from my experience is the inner belief that I can achieve my goals. I urge anyone who is reading this to make the commitment to themselves because with Queenstown Fitness Retreats you will get the results.
