This is the recipe that I use for laundry soap. Use only 1-2 tablespoonfuls. This does NOT suds but cleans very well. Get a five gallon paint bucket to make it in. You need the tight lid. Takes a while to us all of this. 1 (4 lb 12 oz) box borax 1 (3 lb 7 oz) box arm and hammer super washing soda 1 (3lb) oxyclean 2 (14.1 oz) bars of Zote soap or fels naptha 2 (2lb) boxes of baking soda 1-2 (55 oz) bottle of Purex crystals fabric softener. Grate soap. Mix all ingredients together in large container. Use 1-2 tablespoon. Put in the crystal container then you can use the cap to measure it.
