This is the result as of 15 minutes ago. After 30 minutes of soaking in the Coca-Cola, the rust has visibly diminished & become detached from the tray. It only required a minor wipe down with an old rag to almost completely remove all of the visible rust from the tray. Needless to say...I will make sure to monitor my soda intake in a MAJOR way from now on! I knew of the sugar concerns with sodas & soft drinks...but who knew that the chemicals contained therein could also remove rust from metal?
