This is the result of the fallacious belief that being vindictive can result in being victorious. Ruining people is not a form of entertainment. If people have done things you think are questionable, there are plenty of legal routes to go without making it into a public spectacle before the courts rule they are guilty. I dont support clandestine practices from any organization, but I also do not support those practices from other people. The most unfortunate part of this is the well intention-ed but catachrestic belief that drama is not drama if it is true. Drama is drama because it is dramatic. Public shaming is wrong. It may feel good, it may be popular, but it is still wrong. Our community will never find any equanimity until we realize that we are the ones preventing our own happiness. Love others, no matter what, and that love will come back to you. I know this opinion is not popular and will be construed as supporting insidious practices, but popular is rarely right. I only speak out because I know how I would feel if this were being done to me, regardless of ANYTHING I may have done in the past.
