This is the second time Ive seen this happen this week....real rescues dont pull the puppies and leave the mama to die. You just dont. If you want the highly adoptable puppies, you take the mama as well. If you cant be ethical, if you only want to pull the dogs that will be adopted quickly or can be shipped off to other locations quickly to make your numbers look good, get the hell out of rescue because youre in it for the glory and praise, not for the dogs. The dogs are what matters. Not your picture in the paper or people showering you with praise. The dogs. Off to shovel poop and take care of all my not highly adoptable dogs. They are the best dogs in the world and I adore every one of them!
