This is the shit muslims deal with on a daily basis. And you wonder why I criticize my government and speak ill of the ignorant people who paint negative images of my community with broad strokes of a hate brush, forgetting the crimes against humanity that we (as a nation) have committed? This is the reality of ignorance and hate being perpetuated to continue cycles of fear among the population in America. If the Muslim community was to do the same against another community of faith, this would create an uproar in society. But we have allowed Muslims to be profiled and discriminated against, making them feel as if they are responsible for the actions of a small group who do not represent the nearly 2 billion peace loving muslims around the globe.
