This is the song that I welcome the new morning with when I spring out of bed. I stand at the window in my Tattooine robe, staring at the horizon and wishing that we had a second sun. And I wish that Uncle Owen would let me get to Anchorhead already to get my power converters so I can join the Academy. I hate moisture farming. But seriously, this is my favorite song from the greatest trilogy that mankind has ever created. It always summons up the possibilities of a brand new day, the setting of old ideas to rise anew. New Ideas, new quests, new actions. Its about dreaming of something bigger for yourself, just like Luke staring off into the binary sunset, knowing internally that theres more to his fate than just simply being. He has a bigger purpose, as we all do. We just have to summon up the courage to claim it. Or we can hope for a stormtrooper invasion-droid hunt to take away any other option.
